Quilts make great gifts!

Quilts make great gifts that will be cherished forever for the friend who is having her first child, or her third.  For the son who is graduating from college or from high school.  For the couple who are getting married who are die hard Auburn or Alabama fans.  A quilt is something that is personal and something that they can use for ever.  It's also something that not just anyone can sit down in a Saturday and knock out for you.

If you know someone that is graduating from high school, college or law school - consider a t-shirt quilt.
If you know someone that has played sports their whole life but don't want to part with their shirts- you might suggest a t-shirt quilt.
Do you have friends expecting a new baby?  Consider ordering them a custom baby quilt to fit their personalities or the nursery.

My quilts are high quality and reasonably priced.  I've done a lot of searching to see what other people charge to do quilts and online sites where you ship your shirts off and then they send you back your shirts all just sewed together without a stitch of personality or your taste incorporated into the quilt.

Here are just a few of the latest quilts that have been gifted:

This was a quilt I made as a gift for my dear friends, Kelly & Ryan out in Oklahoma for first baby boy- Mr. Brogan Pierce.  He made his entrance into the world on December 12, 2012!   Kelly & Ryan both loved the quilt.  I love this picture of Brogan relaxing on the quilt, it is one of my favorites!

Here are three shots of a soccer quilt made for a family friend and college grad.  His mom had been saving all of his shirts from the many years of all the soccer competitions from grade school all the way through college.  I found this fun soccer material and even worked his name from one of the back of the uniforms into the quilt at the bottom to give it a personal touch.  Ryan graduated on May 11 of this year and his folks gave him this quilt.  I hear he loved it!

If you have been been looking for someone to make you a personalized t-shirt quilt out of shirts you have been holding on to - look no further!  Shoot me an email at:  joyleighlane@gmail.com
